Slow Going

We took time to go slow last weekend.  To stop and remember that it doesn't all have to happen overnight.  Mike and Jake planted 10 tiny (free!) spruce trees along the north side of the garden.  I sat by the fire to knit, all weekend long, and no one managed to get dressed until it was time to come home.  A good weekend, indeed.

  2. I am constantly having to remind myself to slow down, that it does not all need to be done so fast!
Lovely photos- and knitting by the fire sounds perfect!

  4. I'm so glad that school is out for us. I have a love/hate relationship with public school, and today we celebrated the last day by making a mess and painting together. Slower days are ahead for us, a much better pace for me :) Can't wait to see your finished object.

  5. My favorite kind of weekend involves much getting done, and my part being the knitting! :)
