    1. Steeking is when you cut open the front of a sweater to make it a cardigan! I've added a link in the post to a more detailed post I did ages ago on steeking.

    1. Thanks:) I've been trying to figure out a way of getting in touch with you... I just figured out I have a spam folder for comments and all of yours end up there! I'm not just ignoring every single one of your comments. ;) I'm not sure if it's something you can change on your end, but I'll keep checking it regularly!

  5. I will definitely be posting photos of all the finished garments I've made in the last few weeks; just as soon as the temps drop below 80F and I have a willing model!

  6. Brave!! I haven't tried it yet...I'm thinking I'll start with something small, like a thumb hole on mittens. ;) I'm happy to have found your blog through the link up, I'm sharing leg warmers this week. Happy knitting!

  7. I'm glad you found me, too! I found that steeking thumb holes are much more difficult with all those tiny stitches. Sweaters are a piece of cake!

  8. that is not all! That is huge! I have yet to steek. In fact, I was about to knit a beautiful fair isle sweater and changed my mind when I saw it needed to be steeked.
