A Shift in the Universe

A quiet, subtle shift in the universe a few weeks ago, whispered fall is on the way.  My friend mentioned it too.  I'm compelled to knit heavy cabled sweaters and make carrot soup.

How about you, did you feel it?

  1. Still waiting for it {im}patiently here in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It's going to be 33C (a sweat bath) here for the next 3 days. I WANT AUTUMN! NOW!

(I am NOT a fan of summer. No, not at all.)

  2. I'm not a fan of summer either. If only fall could last forever! It's such a strange feeling to begin the fall nesting process when it's still 80 degrees outside:)

  3. We have noticed it too, chicken noodle soup is in the works. I love the soft color of your yarn.

  4. Yes! I did feel it a few days ago while I was out early watering veggies. Glad I'm not the only one. :)

  5. My favorite seasons in this order are: Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer so YES!...YES YES YES I noticed the slight change in the air and I am (can't you tell?) so excited about the next few months. I almost forgot what it felt like not to feel like I was in an oven. Lovely photo of your knitting by the way. That light really brings out the sweet corn look to it.

  8. It's still hot in Texas, but I can happily and thankfully report that this has been a mild summer by Texas standards. I too, yearn for fall, being a transplanted Northern girl. I have some pictures of 2 projects I completed with your holidazzle yarn. Would you like me to send them to you?
